Donate on Behalf of a Rescued Pet in Need
Many of our rescued pets need special care, such as heartworm or other costly, extensive medical treatment. Others don't seem to sell themselves well at adoptions - even the sweetest pets can go unnoticed by potential adopters, simply because they are shy or too "average" looking. Or maybe you have fallen in love with a dog or cat that you saw on our picture pages or at an adoption location, but you are unable to bring an animal into your home right now.

For all of these reasons, we have created the Sponsor-A-Pet Program, which allows you to donate on behalf of a specific dog or cat at Muscogee County Humane Society.

How does it work?
If you already know which pet you would like to help, simply click the button below and proceed with your secure online tax-deductible donation. If you would like to sponsor a pet but don't know which one, read about our Very Important Pet featured on our Home Page or browse the pictures of our selected pets for one that tugs your heartstrings.

After making a sponsorship donation, you will receive acknowledgement from a volunteer and an emailed sponsorship packet containing a certificate of sponsorship, and a tax receipt for your donation.

(Note: Per popular request, and to keep costs down, we are now emailing the sponsorship packets. You may still request them via regular post mail, however, by emailing us or saying so in a reply to your acknowledgement email. Thank you for understanding.)
